But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts:and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear: (1 Peter 3:15)

PURPOSE & MISSION
Purpose
The primary purpose of a believer's life is to glorify God. This occurs by reflecting the character of Christ through obedience to His Word. A true believer lives and walks in the Spirit and has crucified the flesh with its affections and lusts.1
A believer engages in edifying activities that strengthen him spiritually. He is motivated by love for Christ to contribute to strengthening the church in love2 to build a strong family unit patterned after the Word, and to be diligent in service to others.
"For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace."3 "Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples. As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love. If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love. These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full. This is my commandment, that ye love one another, as I have loved you."4
Mission
We summarize our purpose by saying our church has a four-pillar mission:
To present to the lost the gospel message of salvation based on faith in the shed blood of Jesus Christ and a true repentance and conversion.5
To teach and nurture the believers toward a sanctified life and to faithfulness by God's grace and through His Word.6
To preserve sound doctrine by "contending for the faith."7
To offer loving, humble deeds of service to fellow believers and all mankind in the name of Christ.8

OUR BELIEFS BASED ON
THE HOLY WORD OF GOD
ORGANIZATION APOSTOLIC CHRISTIAN CHURCH GOVERNMENT
Believing in the priesthood of all believers, but also recognizing that the Bible prescribes various offices of church authority.
We believe that Scripture, both the Old and the New Testament, is God's revelation, and His complete, expressed will to humanity. Scripture is inspired in thought and word, infallible in the original writings, is the supreme and final authority in faith and in life, and is the foundation of all truth.
2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20-21; John 10:35; John 17:17
We trace our origins to the Church that Jesus founded in the early first century. We follow the same teachings, doctrines and practices established then. Our commission is to proclaim the gospel of the coming Kingdom of God to all the world as a witness and teach all nations to observe what Christ commanded (Matthew 24:14; Matthew 28:19, Matthew 28:20).
Our Holy Core Beliefs
The following are the core beliefs of the church based on the foundational truths taught in the bible. All of our teaching and ministry is rooted in and flows out of these biblical doctrines:
GOD ALMIGHTY
There is one eternally existing God. He is the creator of all that exists, both visible and invisible, and is therefore worthy of all glory and praise. God is perfect in love, power, holiness, goodness, knowledge, wisdom, justice, and mercy. He is unchangeable and therefore is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow.
" In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men."
(John 1:1-4)
REVELATION OF THE HOLY SOVEREIGN GODHEAD
God has revealed himself to us through his son, Jesus Christ, who is the visible image of the invisible God, the holy scriptures, and through all of creation itself.
"14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth."(John 1:14)
"For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given, and the government will be upon His shoulders. And He will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace."(Isaiah 9:6)
"But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you."(John 14:26)
CHRIST THE HEAD OF THE CHURCH
Christ is the Head of the church, the chief Shepherd; and all authority flows from Him (Ephesians 1:22-23, Colossians 1:18-20, Peter 5:4).
We believe that the Church is that body of believers who have received, and are being led by, the Holy Spirit. The true Church of God is a spiritual organism. Its biblical name is "The Church of God."
We believe that the mission of the Church is to preach the gospel (good news) of the coming Kingdom of God to all nations as a witness, and to help reconcile to God such people as are now being called.
We believe that it is also the mission of the Church of God to strengthen, edify and nurture the children of God in the love and admonition of our Lord Jesus Christ.

MANKIND
Humans, both male and female, were created in God's image for His glory. The first humans, Adam and Eve, were created without sin and appointed as caretakers of the rest of God's creations.
We believe God's purpose for mankind is to prepare those whom He calls, and who elect through a life of overcoming sin, developing righteous character, and growing in grace and knowledge, to possess the Kingdom and to become kings and priests reigning with Christ on this earth after His return.
We believe that the reason for mankind's existence is literally to be born as spirit beings into the family of God.
Romans 6:15-16; Romans 8:14-17, Romans 8:30; Acts 2:39; 2 Peter 3:18; Revelation 3:5; Revelation 5:10
We believe that humanity was created in the image of God with the potential to become children of God, partakers of the divine nature. God formed humanity of flesh, which is material substance. Human beings live by the breath of life, are mortal, subject to corruption and decay, without eternal life, except as the gift of God under God's terms and conditions as expressed in the Bible.
We believe that God placed before Adam and Eve the choice of eternal life through obedience to God, or death through sin. Adam and Eve yielded to temptation and disobeyed God. As a result, sin entered the world, and through sin, death. Death now reigns over all humanity because all have sinned.
Genesis 1:26; 2 Peter 1:4; Hebrews 9:27; 1 Corinthians 15:22; Romans 5:12; Romans 6:23
THE FALL
When Adam and Eve chose not to obey God, they ceased to be what they were made to be and became distorted images of God. This caused them to fall out of fellowship with God, and fractured all of creation ever since that time.
Genesis 3:20-23
King James Version
20 And Adam called his wife's name Eve; because she was the mother of all living.
21 Unto Adam also and to his wife did the Lord God make coats of skins, and clothed them.
22 And the Lord God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:
23 Therefore the Lord God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken.
We believe that sin is the transgression of the law. The law is spiritual, perfect, holy, just and good. The law defines God's love and is based upon the two great principles of love toward God and love toward neighbor, and is immutable and binding. The Ten Commandments are the ten points of God's law of love.
We believe that breaking any one point of the law brings upon a person the penalty of sin. We believe that this fundamental spiritual law reveals the only way to true life and the only possible way of happiness, peace and joy. All unhappiness, misery, anguish and woe have come from transgressing God's law.

The Sacrifice of Jesus Christ
We believe God so loved this world of helpless sinners that He gave His only begotten Son, who, though in all points tempted as we are, lived without sin in the human flesh. That Son, Jesus Christ, died as a sacrifice for the sins of humanity. His life, because He is the Creator of all humanity, is of greater value than the sum total of all human life. His death is, therefore, sufficient to pay the penalty for every human being's sins. In paying this penalty He has made it possible, according to God's plan, for each person and humanity as a whole to have their sins forgiven and to be released from the death penalty.
Hebrews 4:15; Hebrews 9:15; Hebrews 10:12; John 1:18; John 3:16; Colossians 1:16-17, Colossians 1:22; 1 John 2:2; 1 John 4:10; Ephesians 1:11; Revelation 13:8
Three Days and Three Nights
We believe that the Father raised Jesus Christ from the dead after His body lay three days and three nights in the grave, thus making immortality possible for mortal man. He thereafter ascended into heaven, where He now sits at the right hand of God the Father as our High Priest and Advocate.
1 Peter 1:17-21; 1 Peter 3:22; Matthew 12:40; 1 Corinthians 15:53; 2 Timothy 1:10; John 20:17; Hebrews 8:1; Hebrews 12:2
Repentance and Faith
We believe that all who truly repent of their sins in full surrender and willing obedience to God, and who by faith accept Jesus Christ as their personal Savior, have their sins forgiven by an act of divine grace. Such individuals are justified, pardoned from the penalty of sin, and receive the gift of the Holy Spirit, which literally abides within them and supplies the divine love that alone can fulfill the law and produce righteousness. They are baptized by the Spirit into the body of Christ, which is the true Church of God.
We believe in a true change in life and attitude. Only those who have the indwelling presence of and are being led by the Holy Spirit are Christ's.

PROMISES TO ABRAHAM
We believe in God's enduring righteousness. That righteousness is demonstrated by God's faithfulness in fulfilling all of the promises He made to the father of the faithful, Abraham. As promised, God multiplied Abraham's lineal descendants so that Abraham literally became the "father" of many nations.
We believe that God, as promised, materially prospered Abraham's lineal descendants Isaac and Jacob (whose name He later changed to Israel).
We believe that God, through Abraham's Seed, Jesus Christ, is making salvation available to all humanity regardless of their physical lineage. Salvation is not therefore a right of birth. It is freely open to all whom God calls, and those who are regarded as descendants of Abraham are those of the faith, heirs according to the promises.
We believe that the knowledge that God has fulfilled and continues to fulfill the physical promises made to Abraham and his children, and is fulfilling the spiritual promise through Jesus Christ, is critical to understanding the message of the prophets and its application to the world in which we live.
Psalm 111:1-10; Romans 4:16; Romans 9:7-8; Galatians 3:16; Genesis 32:28
SALVATION
Jesus Christ came to reconcile us with God. He lived a life without sin and willingly died on the cross to pay the penalty for our transgressions. God raised him from the dead and now, by grace, offers as a free gift eternal life to all who follow Christ, by faith, as their Lord and Savior. That is why salvation can be found in Christ alone.
Ephesians 2:8-9 8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9 not by works, so that no one can boast.
THE BAPTISMS
ONE--26 For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.
27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. (Galatians 3:26-27 KJV)
TWO & THREE--“But he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:”(Matthew 3:11)
The Bible verses related to baptism and speaking in tongues are123:
-
Acts 2:3-11: Describes the event where believers were baptized and received the gift of speaking in tongues when the Holy Spirit came upon them.
-
1 Corinthians 14:13-19: Discusses the importance of interpreting tongues and the role of prayer in this gift.
THE CHURCH
The Church is meant to be the visible body of Christ, sent into the world to glorify God and proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ.
1 Corinthians 12:27-13:13
King James Version
27 Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.
28 And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues.
RESURRECTION
Jesus Christ is returning one day to judge both the living and the dead and to usher in the fullness of God's kingdom on earth.
"Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years"(Revelation 20:6)
"The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ."(1Peter 3:21)
THE 1ST AND 2ND RESURRECTIONS & ETERNAL JUDGMENT
We believe that the only hope of eternal life for mortal humans lies in the 1ST resurrection through the indwelling of the Holy Spirit.
We believe that at the return of Jesus Christ a resurrection to spirit life will take place for all who have been God's faithful servants.
We believe that after Jesus Christ has ruled on this earth for 1,000 years, there will be a resurrection to physical life of the vast majority of all people who have ever lived.
We believe that after these people have had an opportunity to live a physical life, if they become converted, they too will receive eternal life.
We also believe that those who reject God's offer of salvation will reap eternal death in the 2nd resurrection.
1 Corinthians 15:19; 1 Corinthians 15:42-52; Acts 23:6; John 5:21-29; Romans 6:23; Romans 8:10-11; 1 Thessalonians 4:16; Ezekiel 37:1-14; Revelation 20:4-5, Revelation 20:11-15; John 3:16; Matthew 25:46
Jesus Christ's Return and Coming Reign
We believe in the personal, visible, premillennial return of the Lord Jesus Christ to rule the nations on earth as King of kings and to continue His priestly office as Lord of lords. At that time, He will sit upon the throne of David. During His thousand-year reign upon the earth, He will restore all things and establish the Kingdom of God forever.

THE THRONE OF GOD
"22 And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb."(Revelation 22:1)
THE CHURCH OFFICES UNDER THE LORDSHIP OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST
1)Direction is sought from the congregation for filling teaching and leadership offices either by vote or personal suggestion. The decision for appointment rests with the elder, a responsibility given to Timothy by Apostle Paul (Timothy 2:2)
2)The elder (Bishop and Pastor) and Deacons are selected according to the directions and in light of the qualifications given in 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1:5-9. The congregation's sentiment for support of a ministering brother for such duties is obtained by ballot. The decisions for appointment of elders and ordained deacons rest with the national elder body (Acts 6:2-6).
3)Duties of elders and deacons
A. An elder is the administrator of the spiritual matters of the church. He can perform the rites (baptism, laying on of hands, the communion), counsels converts and members, and performs all ministerial duties (Hebrews 13:7, 1 Peter 5:1-5).
B. A deacon serves as assistant to the elder and performs all ministerial duties (Acts 6:1-6).
4)Discipline of all members is administered for their spiritual welfare and for the preservation of the church. The elder is responsible for administering discipline in the assembly of believers with their support and for their benefit (Corinthians 5, Galatians 6:1, Thessalonians 3:6, Thessalonians 3:14-15, Timothy 5:20).
